Amanda Price Award
In 2012 we began the recognition of oustanding coaches' wives with the presentation of the Amanda Price Award. Coach Ron Price accepted the 2012 Amanda Price Award in honor of his late wife Amanda Cossey Price. Amanda's life on and off the field has left a lasting legacy for all coaches' wives. Each year coaches will submit letters nominating their wife. The winner will be announced at the MAC Coaching Clinic in July.
Christine is married to Ridgeland High School Head Basketball Coach, Rod Davidson. They have two children who keep Christine busy. Christine is a big supporter of the Titans and is always there to support Rod at the basketball games and behind the scenes.
Christine was presented with the 2016 Amanda Price Award during the 2016 MAC Coaching Clinic in Jackson, Mississippi.

Congratulations to Linda Black!
Linda is the wife of Ricky Black, Head Football Coach at Jackson Prep. Since 1971 Linda has seen every single game Ricky has coached. When Linda is asked, "why do you do it, you must love football?" She simply replies, "Well, I like football, but I LOVE Ricky."
Linda was presented with the 2013 Amanda Price Award on Friday, July 19 during the MAC Coaching Clinic in Jackson, Mississippi.

Carrie is married to Jason Cook, Head Football Coach at Richland High School. They have been married for 10 years and have served at 3 schools during that time. They have 3 chidren, Katie (8), Olivia (6), and Sam (4). Carrie founded the MCWA in 2012 and enjoys planning the brunch and the fellowship with other coaches' wives througout the year.
Carrie was presented with the 2014 Amanda Price Award during the 2014 MAC Coaching Clinic in Jackson, Mississippi.

Sheri is the wife of Germantown High School Head Football Coach, Tim Shramek. Tim and Sheri have been married for 13 years. They have 4 children and one grandchild. Sheri also works at Germantown High School. She is the Art teacher, Interact Sponsor, Art Club sponsor, GHS Tackle-A-Cure coordinator, and GHS St. Jude coordinator. Sheri has been a part of the MCWA since 2012.
Sheri was presented with the 2015 Amanda Price Award during the 2015 MAC Coaching Clinic in Jackson, Mississippi.

Jamie was married to the late Kyle Wallace, a football coach from Yazoo County. Their children are Myla (pictured above) and Hamp. Jamie is a hairstylist in Yazoo City and continues to follow and support the Yazoo County Panthers.

Congratulations to Jennifer Lowrey!
Jennifer is the wife of Will Lowrey, TCPS Baseball. They have been married since 2010. She has been active in supporting her husband's baseball teams from running the concessions and making signs to organizing the bat girls.
Jennifer was unable to attend the 2017 MAC Coaching Clinic in Jackson, Mississippi, but her award has been presented.

Amy is from Picayune and the wife of Walt Esslinger. She has been a coach's wife for 29 years and has four children -two of her children are coaches!

Allison is from Madison and is the wife of Brian Hardy the Head Baseball Coach at Germantown High School. Allison has 2 children and spends her free time supporting Maverick baseball.

Chess is the wife of Chad Anthony of North Pontotoc.
Due to Covid - 19 restrictions, the Amanda Price Award for 2020 was not presented at the annual MAC Coaching Clinic in Jackson, Mississippi. Ron Price and his daughter Molly Addison Price met with the Anthonys to present the award.
